Job Purpose
The Senior Financial Solutions Advisor is responsible for driving new client acquisition for BELAY’s Financial Solutions division. This role focuses on generating, developing, and closing new business opportunities for BELAY’s financial service offerings, including accounting, payroll, tax, inventory management, and advisory solutions.
This position serves as a consultative sales partner to prospective clients, helping small and mid-sized businesses identify financial and operational challenges and align BELAY’s services to support business goals. The role requires strong relationship management, outbound business development, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities
As a BELAY Senior Financial Solutions Advisor, you will professionally represent the company in all virtual and in-person interactions. You are expected to exemplify our mission, vision, and core values daily, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate and close new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
• Conduct consultative discovery conversations to identify client needs and align BELAY’s financial solutions with business goals.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities while consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Develop and maintain referral relationships with CPAs, financial advisors, business consultants, and other strategic partners.
• Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders to support lead conversion and market growth initiatives.
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory to support client meetings, networking opportunities, partner relationship development, and other business activities.
• Deliver virtual and in-person presentations and business discussions to executive-level decision-makers.
• Maintain an understanding of accounting, finance, and business operations to effectively position BELAY’s services.
• Utilize Salesforce, Gong Engage, or similar platforms to manage pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate customer records.
Qualifications
This role requires a motivated and trustworthy self-starter with strong communication, financial, and technological skills.
• 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience in financial services, accounting services, financial technology, ERP, bookkeeping, payroll, CFO advisory, or related industries.
• Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and performance goals.
• Experience generating new business opportunities through proactive outbound business development activities.
• Experience selling consultative, relationship-based solutions involving multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
• Working knowledge of accounting and financial management concepts.
• Experience developing referral partnerships that support recurring revenue growth.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, follow through on commitments, and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Working conditions
BELAY Corporate offers full-time remote work, requiring a dedicated, distraction-free home office for standard Monday-Friday business hours. Regular local travel within the assigned territory is expected, along with occasional travel for company meetings, training, or conferences.

Salary range
$80,000 - $85,000 + commission

This role is remote within the U.S. However, due to employment and tax compliance considerations, we are currently unable to hire employees in the following states: California, New York, Illinois, Oregon.
