Job purpose

 

The focus of this role is to source, recruit and advance exceptional talent through the corporate interview process to carry out BELAY’s mission and values. The Corporate Recruiter is also responsible for creating an excellent candidate experience and serves as the “Director of First Impressions.” The ideal candidate will have a passion for finding and hiring top talent and will be responsible for the full-cycle recruiting process. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.

As a member of the BELAY Corporate Team, you are expected to participate in phone calls and meetings (virtual and onsite), while serving as an example of the company’s mission: BELAY exists to glorify God by providing solutions that equip our clients with the confidence to climb higher.
 

Duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and provide guidance on effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source Candidate and Build Talent Pipelines: Utilize various sourcing methods, including ATS, job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify and attract top talent.
  • Manage the Hiring Process: Facilitate the entire hiring process, from screening candidates, conducting interviews to extending job offers. Ensure a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Employer Branding: Promote the company’s employer brand through various channels with direct sourcing and ensure a positive candidate experience. Participate in virtual and in-person networking events, and other recruitment activities, while keeping updated on industry trends
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process. Ensure that all candidates are evaluated fairly and without bias.
  • Maintain proper formatting for all job descriptions, and job postings while working directly with the HR Specialist and the Marketing department to ensure consistent branding.
  • Represent BELAY and our mission and core values in all aspects of the recruiting process: professional, grateful, timely, and organized.
  • Collaborate with the HR Team to ensure proper creation and processing of new hire paperwork including background checks, Offer Letters, and NDAs.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Serve as a corporate culture representative, ensuring that cultural integrity is maintained as company growth occurs within BELAY. 
  • Manage ad hoc projects as assigned.
  • Ongoing industry research conducted to learn staffing and recruiting best practices, changes in policies, and areas of recruiting compliance via trusted resources (i.e. SHRM).                        
 

Qualifications

 

Ideal candidates must be professional and poised as well as proactive, agile, and confident in their ability to make the employee experience a top priority. Candidates must be comfortable with technology, sourcing,  and applications, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have a genuine love for people. A high degree of confidentiality is required due to access to sensitive information. 
 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • Previous experience with sourcing, recruiting and interviewing required.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and full life cycle recruiting preferred.
  • Experience with external recruiting/sourcing via Linked In and additional social media platforms
  • Must be a driven self-starter, a positive thinker, loyal and trustworthy.
  • Attributes of flexibility, creativity, self-discipline, strong organizational skills, and action orientation are essential for this role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player who is willing and able to “roll up the shirt sleeves” to get a project done when needed.
  • A high degree of autonomy with the capability of working remotely. 
 

Working conditions

 

BELAY Corporate, as a virtual company, offers you the ability to work from home full-time. As such, a dedicated and secure work space, free of distractions is required. Our standard business hours are Monday-Friday. 

 

This role is a full-time, non-exempt, W-2 role with our company. The weekly hours are 40 per week. BELAY is a top-notch, vibrant company with an award-winning culture.
