Job purpose  


As Strategic Partnership Manager your main accountability is to help us grow the business through the partnership channel - building alliances with complimentary brands, organizations and people. 

We provide a top-tier, white glove service that helps our clients grow. Your job’s purpose is to help magnify what we do so well to our growing network of partners and their audiences. This includes representing the brand at the highest level as you identify and develop new partnerships. 

As a member of the BELAY Corporate Team, you will proactively participate in phone calls and meetings (virtual and onsite), while serving as an example of the company’s mission: BELAY exists to glorify God by providing solutions that equip our clients with the confidence to climb higher.

Duties and responsibilities

Represent BELAY's Core Values and Culture:

  • Act as a daily exemplar of BELAY’s mission, demonstrating our core values in professional conduct.
  • Uphold our vision by proactively supporting both clients and team members, embodying the spirit of collaboration and positivity.
 

Partnership Identification and Evaluation:

  • Conduct detailed research to identify potential partners and sponsors who align with BELAY’s brand ethos and strategic goals.
  • Assess the potential of these partnerships based on alignment with mutual objectives, audience engagement, and ROI.
 

Partnership Development and Management:

  • Forge and nurture strategic relationships with businesses, organizations, and influencers to leverage synergistic strengths.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for ongoing partnerships, ensuring smooth collaboration and adherence to agreed terms.
 

Strategic Planning for Partnerships:

  • Develop comprehensive strategies for partnership and sponsorship initiatives that align with overarching company goals.
  • Create innovative partnership concepts and activation plans that enhance brand distinction and mutual value creation.
 

Negotiation of Partnerships:

  • Lead negotiations with potential partners to secure beneficial agreements.
  • Outline clear terms, objectives, and deliverables for all parties involved.
 

Campaign and Event Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to plan and execute marketing campaigns and event activations.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize strategies and maximize ROI.
 

Qualifications

The Strategic Partnership Manager must have a strong ability to work on multiple initiatives at once, knowing when and what to prioritize to meet critical deadlines.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Three or more years of experience in a partnerships or business development role that involved creating strategy, coordination, driving, and execution of business development initiatives across multiple platforms
  • Three or more years of experience in external strategic partnerships/sponsorships.
  • Strong understanding of business development principles, brand positioning, and consumer behavior
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Must be a driven self-starter, a positive thinker, inquisitive and trustworthy
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a results-driven mindset
  • Team player who is willing and able to “roll up the shirt sleeves” to get a project done
  • A high degree of autonomy with the capability of working remotely

 

Working conditions


BELAY Corporate, as a virtual company, offers you the ability to work from home full- time. As such, a dedicated and secure workspace, free of distractions is required. Our standard business hours are Monday through Friday. Travel for this position averages 25%, both in and out of the metro Atlanta area. This role is a full-time, exempt, W-2 role with our company.
