Job purpose  

The HR Specialist will manage and support data-driven projects within BELAY’s HR department to enhance employee engagement, performance, and overall organizational effectiveness. This role will involve coordinating and analyzing the Annual Employee Engagement Survey, facilitating the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) process, overseeing the biannual Coaching for Performance (CFP) initiative, and continually improving the onboarding process. This position will play a key role in optimizing HR processes through data analysis and strategic project management, to support BELAY’s mission, values, and growth.

As a member of the HR team, you are responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment for employees, continuously seeking ways to enhance team engagement and performance. You will actively participate in virtual and onsite phone calls and meetings, exemplifying BELAY’s mission: to glorify God by providing solutions that equip our clients with the confidence to climb higher.

Duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Lead and coordinate HR data-driven projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to support the implementation of HR initiatives.
    • Collaborate with HR leadership and other departments to align projects with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Employee Engagement Survey:
    • Administer the Annual Employee Engagement Survey, and ad hoc pulse surveys as needed including planning, communication, and execution.
    • Analyze survey data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and action plans.
    • Present findings and recommendations to BELAY leadership and other stakeholders
  • OKR Coordination:
    • Coordinate the development and tracking of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) company-wide utilizing Paycor.
    • Provide training and support to teams on Paycor utilization and tracking.
    • Monitor progress and ensure alignment with BELAY's strategic goals.
 
  • Biannual Coaching for Performance (CFP) Process:
    • Coordinate the biannual CFP process, including scheduling, communication, and documentation.
    • Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for employee development and growth.
  • Onboarding:
    • Partner with the Senior HR Specialist as a contact for new hires, ensuring a positive onboarding experience, including new hire orientation, employee check ins, and implementation of any future HR initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain onboarding materials, checklists, and processes.
    • Collaborate with department heads to facilitate seamless integration of new employees.
  • Training Digitization:
    • Partner with the Senior HR Specialist on the digitization of training programs into Paycor’s LMS.
    • Support departmental digital training content, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
    • Track and report on training completion rates and effectiveness.
  • Additional HR Responsibilities:
    • Provide support and collaborate on key HR functions to ensure consistency and alignment across the department.
    • Participation in Slack and team connection activities (including but not limited to Lunch Bunch, Birthday, anniversary, and Friday high/low posts).
    • Manage ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications

 

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, adapts to changing priorities, and is committed to maintaining a positive and supportive company culture. They should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work with HR data to derive insights and inform decision-making. A high degree of confidentiality is required due to access to sensitive information. 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • Data analytics/measurement experience with HR data preferred.
  • Must be a driven self-starter, a positive thinker, loyal and trustworthy.
  • Attributes of flexibility, creativity, self-discipline, strong organizational skills, and action orientation are essential for this role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player who is willing and able to “roll up the shirt sleeves” to get a project done when needed.
  • A high degree of autonomy with the capability of working remotely. 
 

Working conditions

 

BELAY Corporate, as a virtual company, offers you the ability to work from home full-time. As such, a dedicated 

and secure work space, free of distractions is required. Our standard business hours are Monday-Friday. Some roles will require travel.

Salary

$58,000 - $60,000
